Robert Cassandro

Robert Cassandro is Of Counsel to the firm. His practice concentrates in the areas of Renewable Energy, Clean Tech and Climate Change, as well as general corporate and real estate transactions and litigation.

For more than 20 years, Robert has represented clients involved in energy related transactions and regulatory issues. He devotes his time to structuring and negotiating transactions and litigating regulatory issues relating to renewable energy, electric power and natural gas transactions, independent power projects, smart grid/distributed generation, energy storage, project finance, energy related computer software and construction contracts, and emission allowance and renewable energy credits trading.

Robert is a member of the Federal Energy Bar Association and is counsel to both the New York State Solar Energy Industry Association and the Long Island Solar Energy Industry Association.

Mr. Cassandro received a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from Boston University. He is a member of the Bar in both New York and Connecticut. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
